Be PROUD of YOU!

Look for and pay attention to all the things you do, all the things you accomplish, all the things you help with, all the things you get right, how you show up each day and serve your family and your work, how you take care of yourself and others!

YOU ARE AMAZING!!!

We find evidence for what we think about, for what we believe. Choose to believe and think about the best things!!!

If we think, “I’m terrible.” We will see the evidence for all the ways we think we are terrible. If we think, “I’m rocking this.” We will see evidence of all the ways we are making it happen, getting stuff done.

Our brain naturally offers us the negative. We must train our brain to see/recognize/believe the positive.

We can only ever control our thoughts, our feelings, our actions.

We decide what we make our life mean with our thinking.

Too often we try to control what others think, feel, and how they act, to make ourselves feel a certain way.

We tend to think other people are doing “it,” whatever it is, wrong making us feel upset, angry, disappointed, bitter, etc.

Our thinking that they are doing it wrong is what causes us our pain.

If we focus on what they are not doing the way we think they should, even if it is true, we feel more anger, disappointment, hurt, or whatever negative emotion. We add to our pain.

We are responsible for how we feel. We create our feelings with our thinking. We must choose to focus on how we want to feel and practice thinking thoughts that generate those emotions for ourselves, regardless of what anyone else does or does not do. (This has been life changing for me!)

We think loving thoughts and we feel love. We think joyful, appreciative, good, Truth, thoughts and we feel good joyful about our life. We choose to think people are awesome, doing the best they can, good, God’s child, worthy of love and belonging, and we will feel loving and kind towards them.

We practice taking our thoughts captive and renewing our mind on Truth and our lives are transformed.

We choose to look for evidence of all the good others are doing. All the good we are doing! And that is what we will find.

Life is hard sometimes. We make it worse when we think it should be different. We must practice self-compassion as we accept that life is hard sometimes and that is just part of it. We remind ourselves that nothing has gone wrong. We remember, we are strong and resilient and capable. And that God is ALWAYS with us. We are never alone in whatever we are facing. All shall be well, eventually!

Decide to believe that you are loved! You are enough! You have worth and value and you belong! Just as you are. Decide to tell yourself a good story about you and your life! You have the power to do that! We decide what we make our lives mean by our thinking about our life. And it does not matter what anyone else thinks! Tell yourself that. Don’t let someone else determine your meaning for you! And they will if you are not intentional about deciding for yourself.

We are always in the process of becoming the truest and best versions of ourselves! We are students of life, figuring it out as we go. Be kind to yourself in the process! And be proud of the work you have done and are doing!
