We must come to know the love God has for us! Learn to trust His Love, rest in His Love, find our security, confidence, and value in His Love!
Our worth and value are in Jesus Christ who love us completely. Not in what other people say about us or expect of us or in what we do or do not do.
Sometimes I feel we have missed the message that GOD IS LOVE!
God loves us no matter what. We are His creation. He is proud of us. He wants good things for us. He wants to lavish us with His Love.
Life will be hard, challenging, unfair, uncertain and a whole combination of other things but we can trust God, knowing He is working all things together to bring us into a deeper understanding of Him, His Love, Peace, Hope, Joy!
We must RECEIVE His LOVE for us.
We must come willing to accept, willing to surrender, willing to give everything to Him, learning to rest in Him. We can relax, training our minds to focus on His Truth, repeat and meditate on His Word, call out His name, sing worship songs of Truth in our heads, take captive our thoughts, choose positive mantras of Truth to repeat to ourselves, encourage ourselves in God’s Truth about us. All these practices diminish the lies of this world. When we practice focusing on Truth, it increases our capacity to know God, to go deeper, to experience Him more intimately. And with practice it gets easier. We trust more as we deepen our relationship with Him. We come to Him willing to be transformed and He does the work! Amen.
We come to God desperate for a better Way and discover His amazing Love.
If you look for Me wholeheartedly, you will find Me. Jeremiah 29:13 NLT
Ask, and the gift is yours. Seek, and you’ll discover. Knock, and the door will be opened for you. For every persistent one will get what he asks for. Every persistent seeker will discover what he longs for. And everyone who knocks persistently will one day find an open door. Matthew 7:7-8 TPT
This is what the Sovereign Lord, the Holy One of Israel, says:
“Only in returning to Me and resting in Me will you be saved.
In quietness and confidence is your strength. Isaiah 30:15 NLT
So the Lord must wait for you to come to Him so He can show you His love and compassion. For the Lord is a faithful God. Blessed are those who wait for His help. Isaiah 30:18 NLT
Escort me along the way; take me by the hand and teach me.
For you are the God of my increasing salvation;
I have wrapped my heart into yours! Psalm 25:5 TPT
Let Your love and steadfast kindness overshadow us
continually, for we trust and we wait upon You! Psalm 33:22 TPT
Everything we could ever need for life and complete devotion to God has already been deposited in us by His divine power. For all this was lavished upon us through the rich experience of knowing Him who has called us by name and invited us to come to Him through a glorious manifestation of His goodness. 2 Peter 1:3 TPT
May we be found. Receiving His Love. Resting in Him. Practicing Love.
