Faith.

I think our faith is like a muscle, we must develop it by practicing believing. We practice believing and our faith grows stronger.

There will be things that happen, circumstances and situations, in our life that cause us to doubt or fear or be uncertain because that is how we have trained ourselves to respond. And because we are human.

I used to think that I had no control over how I thought or responded to what happened in my life. I thought, this is just the way I am. I remember my husband would tell me to, just do better, and I would think I don’t even know what better looks like and have no idea how to get there.

Thankfully, I asked God for help. I prayed and read scriptures and studied. I read books, listened to sermons and sought godly counsel. And God provided answers. He showed me the Way. Then I had to put it into practice in my life. I had to practice thinking a new way. I had to do the work of unlearning old patterns, behaviors, ways of being, and establishing new ones. This took work; it took being intentional.

I heard Dr. Caroline Leaf say we, “Implant the Word, Build the substance, Expand our capacity, and Activate the miracle” in our lives. I have found this to be so true!

As I surrendered, and consistently searched after His Way, the better Way, I began to change. He transformed me. He taught me new Ways of thinking as I renewed my mind on His Truth. And as I continue to seek Him, He continues to show up, reveal Himself to me, and work in my life. I experience God’s miracle and mystery in real and tangible ways in my life. PRAISE!

O my people, trust in him at all times.
Pour out your heart to him,
for God is our refuge. Psalm 62:8 NLT

Join me, everyone! Trust only in God every moment!
Tell him all your troubles and pour out your heart-longings to him.
Believe me when I tell you—he will help you!
AMEN! Psalm 62:8 TPT

Truth’s shining light guides me in my choices and decisions;
the revelation of your word makes my pathway clear. Psalm 119:105 TPT

Teach me to do your will,
for you are my God.
May your gracious Spirit lead me forward
on a firm footing. Psalm 143:10 NLT

“The difference between where we are and where you could be is the pain you’re willing to endure.” – Craig Groeschel

“Our doubts are traitors, and make us lose the good we oft might win, by fearing to attempt.” – William Shakespeare

Be brave friend! Keep going! Keep seeking! There is a better Way!
